Ruddington Art & Craft Society

If you’ve an interest in the Arts, Ruddington Art & Craft Society invite you to join their monthly meetings – every first Thursday in the month at 7.30pm, usually in Ruddington Methodist Church.

The Society aim to ‘provide artistic opportunities fostering a sense of community and wellbeing, ensuring creativity is accessible to all ages and abilities.’

It says “A series of educational sessions, practical demonstrations and discussions are planned and anyone with an interest in art and creativity is welcome. There are opportunities to exhibit and sell art at the Ruddington Makers’ Nights and local art and craft fairs. We are affiliated to the Society for All Artists giving us public liability insurance and tutorials. Commissioned artwork is for sale directly from the artists.”

There is an annual subscription of £50 and includes tea, coffee and cake. Non-members are welcome and pay a charge for each event, usually around £10 (costs as of new year 2024).
